Artist's Note: 

Outside of our home in Hawaii is a white and green leafed hibiscus bush that blooms year round under our stairs. Sometimes there is one lone flower, and other times, three. It is refreshing to be in an environment constantly bursting with flowers and color and that is what is represented in this piece.
